DAY 7 – THE NATION
FOCUS: Security, Peace, Progress, Righteous Leadership, and the Spread of the Gospel of Christ
📖 SCRIPTURAL VERSES
- 1 Timothy 2:1–2 – “Pray for kings and all who are in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives.”
- Psalm 33:12 – “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
- Isaiah 60:1 – “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
SHORT MESSAGE
God is deeply concerned about nations—their leadership, security, moral direction, and spiritual condition. When a nation walks in righteousness, peace prevails. But when righteousness is rejected, confusion and instability increase. Scripture teaches us that the destiny of a nation can be influenced by the prayers of God’s people.
Today is a call to stand in the gap for our nation and the nations of the world. We pray for security where there is violence, peace where there is unrest, progress where there is stagnation, and light where darkness has prevailed. Beyond physical stability, we also pray for the spread of the Gospel of Christ, because true transformation begins when hearts are turned to God.
As we intercede today, we trust God to heal our land, guide our leaders, protect lives, and cause the light of Christ to shine brightly across cities, communities, and institutions.
