If you'll pause and look inward right now, there is Someone knocking on the door of your heart. He wants to help you with your life. This might be that moment you have been waiting for. This could be the reason God has kept you alive until this minute. Jesus is inviting you to a new relationship with Him. He's a Friend that sticks closer than a brother! All He wants is the chance to give you a fresh start and fill your life with meaning.
Would you let Him write the remaining chapters of your life? Perhaps you worry about your past or things you may have done wrong. Please relax! Jesus is not only willing to forgive and forget your past, but He is also ready to give you a new identity. So, what are you waiting for? Won't you accept His invitation today? Won't you turn your life over to Him now and let Him take over from there? Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow may never come. All you can count on is today. If you're not yet saved, your life is not yet safe!
Dearest friend, today is the day of salvation! It makes no sense to postpone today's decision for tomorrow. As the Scriptures say, "...when you hear His voice, harden not your heart" (Hebrews 3:15). Meanwhile, if you insist on having your own way, it won't reduce His status as God. But here's the thing: The Lord does not want anyone to perish. This is the purpose of my appeal to you. Don't miss this chance. The day of vengeance draws near, when He will execute judgement without mercy. How terrible it will be for those who reject His precious gift of salvation.
To welcome Him into your life right now, please recite this prayer from your heart:
"Dear Jesus, thank you for the love you extended to me by dying on the cross for me. I sincerely acknowledge my sins and I totally repent of them. I believe that you rose from the dead for my justification. Please come into my life as Lord and Saviour. From henceforth, help me to know you personally and to serve you with all my heart and according to your Word until the end of time In Jesus name I pray. Amen!"
