Manifesting the Proof of Divine Destiny

Over the past few months in our daily devotional, you’ve been on a determined journey to identify and eliminate the hindrances that can stand between you and your divine destiny. Along the way, you’ve gained insight into spiritual strategies for overcoming key areas of defeat such as disobedience, improper use of the tongue, wrong mindset, the world, the flesh, and the devil. These very issues led to the failure of Israel’s first generation to enter the Promised Land. Because they did not confront and conquer these internal battles, they rebelled against God and were sent back into the wilderness. After forty years of wandering and the passing of that unbelieving generation, a new generation stood once again at the threshold of destiny.

But this time, everything changed.

They did not question. They did not fear. They did not rebel. This new generation crossed a flooded Jordan River by a miracle, marched boldly around the fortified walls of Jericho, and watched them crumble by the power of God. This time, they stepped into their inheritance. They fulfilled their divine destiny and gave the world undeniable evidence that God’s power was real:
“That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the Lord your God forever” (Joshua 4:24).

Their enemies recognized God’s power. Even Rahab who was a prostitute in Jericho, testified:
“For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for you… And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt… for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath” (Joshua 2:10–11).

Centuries later, when Jesus commissioned His disciples to reach the nations with the Gospel, He didn’t send them out in their own strength. He instructed them to wait for divine empowerment:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me…” (Acts 1:8).

Take note—Jesus didn’t say, “You shall receive a blessing.” He said, “You shall receive power.”

Many believers have camped at the border of their spiritual inheritance. They have stopped at salvation. Some have received the gift of tongues or the joy of newfound faith, but they haven’t gone further to experience the proof-producing power of the Holy Spirit in their lives and ministries.

This month, through these Lifeline Daily Devotional readings, you will journey beyond the border of blessing and into the realm of destiny. You will discover how to move beyond mere spiritual experiences and walk in real power—miracle-working, soul-saving, proof-producing power.

Get ready. This is your season to become a proof-producer in Christ.

Remain blessed!
