- The Old Testament Preparation
In Old Testament times, sacrifices and offerings were essential because “without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin” (Hebrews 9:22). These sacrifices pointed to something greater—the perfect Savior who would one day offer Himself once and for all. Every lamb slain and every offering made was a shadow of Christ, the ultimate sacrifice. - The Perfect Sacrifice of Christ
Centuries later, God gave His only Son as the greatest gift to mankind. Jesus willingly laid down His life, shedding His blood to redeem us. Hebrews 10:5–7 reminds us that the sacrifices of old could never satisfy God’s justice, but Christ came saying, “Lo, I come to do Your will, O God.” His obedience brought eternal redemption. - Freedom Through Redemption
