KEY VERSE:
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” — Hebrews 11:6
INTRODUCTION
Faith is the master key to the Christian life. It is impossible to walk with God, receive from God, or manifest the supernatural without faith. Everything we will ever become, receive, or accomplish in the Kingdom flows through this one spiritual currency.
Faith is not an option. It is the very atmosphere in which the believer lives, moves, and operates spiritually.
You cannot pray without faith.
You cannot walk in power without faith.
You cannot overcome the enemy without faith.
You cannot even approach God without faith.
This is why faith is called “the victory that overcomes the world” (1 John 5:4).
Today, we lay the foundation for a life of faith—a faith that works, produces evidence, and brings glory to God.
MESSAGE
1. Faith Begins With a Revelation of Who God Is
The first dimension of faith is believing that God exists—not only intellectually, but personally and relationally.
You must believe:
- God is real.
- God is good.
- God is faithful.
- God is powerful.
- God is trustworthy.
- God is unchanging.
Many people believe in God historically, but not personally. The God of the Bible must become your God.
This is why Scripture says:
“He that cometh to God must believe that He is…” — Hebrews 11:6
Faith does not begin with what God can do…
Faith begins with who God is.
You must settle this permanently:
God cannot lie (Titus 1:2), cannot fail (Joshua 21:45), and cannot change (Malachi 3:6).
2. Faith Is Anchored in the Word of God
Faith does not grow by wishing, hoping, or crying.
Faith comes only one way:
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” — Romans 10:17
If you want stronger faith, you need to dig deeper into the Word.
If you want unshakable faith, you need to consistently feed on the Word.
If you want mountain-moving faith, you need to constantly live by the Word.
Faith feeds on Scripture the way the body feeds on food.
A Bible-starved Christian will always be a faith-starved Christian.
3. Faith Speaks and Acts—It Is Never Silent
Biblical faith is not passive—it is active.
Jesus said: “…whosoever shall say unto this mountain…” — Mark 11:23
Faith speaks what God has said—even when circumstances are opposite.
Faith also acts on God’s Word. James made it clear:
“Faith without works is dead.” — James 2:26
If your faith does not move you, it will never move your mountains.
4. Faith Sees the Invisible and Believes the Impossible
True faith sees what eyes cannot see.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1
Faith sees:
- healing before the symptoms disappear
- provision before the bank account changes
- victory before the battle ends
- open doors before the breakthrough appears
- purpose before manifestation
Faith reaches into the invisible realm and brings God’s reality into earthly experience.
5. Faith Works Even in Trials and Storms
Your faith is not proven in calm weather—it is proven in storms.
When the wind rises, faith rises higher.
When challenges intensify, faith becomes stronger.
Peter walked on water during a storm, not a calm afternoon.
Faith is not the absence of trials.
Faith is the confidence of victory through trials.
CONCLUSION
Faith is the foundation of the Christian journey. Without it, nothing works. With it, everything becomes possible. As you intentionally grow your faith through the Word, obedience, prayer, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you will experience the supernatural dimension God ordained for you.
