KEY VERSE
“For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” — Psalm 5:12
INTRODUCTION
Divine favour is one of the most powerful advantages a believer can walk in. It is the hand of God resting upon a person, causing doors to open, battles to be won, and destinies to be advanced beyond human effort.
In this Year of Signs and Wonders, God is not only releasing power for exploits, He is releasing uncommon favour upon us. Favour distinguishes, elevates, and accelerates. When divine favour rests upon a life, what would normally take years can happen in moments.
Favour is not luck. It is not chance. It is the expression of God’s pleasure upon a life that is yielded and devoted to Him.
MESSAGE
Divine favour is God’s supernatural advantage that causes you to be preferred, remembered, and helped beyond your natural ability. Throughout Scripture, men and women who walked in divine favour experienced unusual breakthroughs.
Joseph found favour in the house of Potiphar, in prison, and eventually before Pharaoh. Esther obtained favour before the king and saved a nation. Mary found favour with God and carried divine purpose within her womb.
What set these individuals apart was not perfection. It was their alignment with God. Favour responds to humility, obedience, and faithfulness.
Walking in divine favour means:
- God goes ahead of you to prepare the way.
- Doors open that no human effort could unlock.
- Opposition is turned into promotion.
- Your steps are ordered and protected by God.
However, favour must be stewarded. Favour without character can lead to downfall. But when you combine favour with humility and obedience to God, it produces lasting impact.
In this season of Signs and Wonders, God is positioning you for unusual favour. This year, He will lift you beyond your imagination: not for pride, but for purpose; not for applause of men, but to fulfil His divine assignment.
CONCLUSION
Divine favour is God’s gracious hand at work in your life. It brings speed, access, and distinction that no human qualification can provide.
As you walk in humility and obedience this year, expect God to mark you for favour in places you never imagined. This is your season to experience preferential treatment by the hand of God in Jesus’ Name!
