KEY VERSE
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…” — Genesis 1:28
INTRODUCTION
From the very beginning, God’s intention for humanity was not survival, but dominion. Dominion speaks of authority, influence, and stewardship under God’s leadership. It is the divine mandate given to humanity to represent God on the earth and to exercise His authority in every sphere of life.
In this season of signs and wonders, God is restoring His people to their rightful place of dominion, where fear is replaced with faith and where defeat gives way to victory.
MESSAGE
Dominion is not about control or arrogance; it is about responsibility and stewardship. When God gave Adam dominion, He entrusted him with authority to manage, cultivate, and expand God’s purposes on earth.
Through sin, humanity lost the full expression of that dominion; but through Christ, it has been restored. Jesus declared, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me”—and He then commissioned His followers to go in that authority.
Walking in dominion means:
- Exercising spiritual authority over fear, sin, and darkness
- Taking responsibility for your spiritual environment
- Refusing to live as a victim of circumstances
- Declaring God’s will over your life and territory
Dominion is expressed through obedience, faith, prayer, and righteous living. When you walk in dominion, you don’t react to situations, you rule over them through Christ.
CONCLUSION
God never intended for His children to live beneath their privileges. Dominion is your inheritance in Christ. As you submit to God and walk in obedience, He releases His authority through you to influence your world for His glory.
This is your season to rise, take your place, and walk boldly in the dominion God has given you.
PRACTICAL REFLECTION

- What steps can I take to walk more boldly in my God-given authority?
PRAYER POINTS
- Father, I thank You for restoring my authority in Christ.
- Empower me to walk in dominion over every area of my life.
- Help me to exercise spiritual authority with humility and wisdom in Jesus Name!
