KEY VERSE:
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” — Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)
INTRODUCTION
God never calls you to do small things. His plans for your life always exceed your natural ability, your human wisdom, and your material resources. But the good news is this: you are not expected to do it alone! Through Christ, you have access to divine power and provision that surpasses every limitation.
MESSAGE
1. Greater Works Through Divine Partnership
Before ascending to Heaven, Jesus declared an astounding truth:
“He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do…” (John 14:12).
These “greater works” are possible only because Jesus returned to the Father and sent the Holy Spirit. Through the Spirit, believers now carry His presence everywhere—performing miracles, preaching the gospel, healing the sick, and transforming nations.
2. Supernatural Abundance for Kingdom Purpose
God’s desire to bless you is not for self-indulgence but for service. You need divine provision to accomplish divine assignment. In your covenant relationship with God, there is no shortage—whether of ideas, wisdom, opportunities, or finances. Everything you need for your destiny has already been supplied in Christ.
3. The Power Within You
When Jesus said, “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it,” (John 14:14), He was revealing the open door to divine resources. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit, you now carry God’s power within. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you—empowering you to think, act, and achieve beyond human limits.
Let this truth sink deep: God is able…
- To do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think.
And this is “according to the power that works in you.”
CONCLUSION
You serve a God who does not deal in small measures. His ability to do “exceeding abundantly above all” is already active within you through His Spirit. Stop thinking lack. Stop limiting God by your circumstances. Begin to expect the supernatural, pray boldly, act in faith, and release the power that is already working inside you.
PRACTICAL REFLECTION
Think about one area of your life or ministry that seems beyond your reach. Instead of worrying about your limitations, boldly ask God for divine help and trust the power of the Holy Spirit within you to bring it to pass.
