KEY VERSE
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2
INTRODUCTION
God does not measure success by how much we possess, but by how faithfully we manage what He places in our hands. Stewardship is a core principle of the Kingdom. It determines how heaven entrusts resources, opportunities, and responsibilities to us.
Faithful stewardship is not about the size of what you have, but the faithfulness with which you manage it. In the economy of heaven, faithfulness always precedes increase.
MESSAGE
Stewardship is the recognition that everything we have belongs to God. Our time, abilities, finances, influence, and opportunities are entrusted to us for a divine purpose. We are managers, not owners.
Jesus often taught using parables of stewardship to emphasize accountability and faithfulness. In the parable of the talents, those who were faithful with little were entrusted with more, while the one who neglected his responsibility lost even what he had.
Faithful stewardship involves:
- Managing resources with integrity and wisdom
- Being diligent in small assignments
- Using what God gives to serve others
- Maintaining accountability before God
God is not looking for perfection. He is looking for faithfulness. When He sees consistency, humility, and responsibility, He releases greater trust and greater resources.
Stewardship also involves stewardship of character. How we handle success, correction, and opportunity reveals our readiness for increase.
CONCLUSION
Faithful stewardship is a gateway to divine increase. When God finds a heart He can trust, He releases greater influence, greater provision, and greater responsibility.
As you walk in faithful stewardship, remember that your faithfulness today determines your enlargement tomorrow.
