Friend, are there things in your life you want to change? Things that keep you awake or give you sleepless nights? How sincere is your desire for change? Do you truly feel dissatisfied with the way things are around you and desperately need answers to certain burning questions in your life?
Dear friend, stop struggling to control events in your life from the outside in. The change you need must come from the inside out. You don’t have to toil or wear yourself out as if everything you need for a turnaround depends solely on you (Matthew 11:28). No matter how hard you try, you can never count the number of hair on your head.
If you’re honest, you’ll agree that you need Someone greater than yourself to step into your life and stir it in the right direction. Stop acting as if there were no God. God’s plan for you is great and perfect (Jeremiah 29:11). But you must learn to put Him first before other things can take their rightful shape (Luke 12:31). That turning point you desperately yearn for is actually closer to you than the very breath in your nostril. You just have to come to the end of yourself and let God have His way (2 Corinthians 3:5).
